Simon, Peter

Peter Simon, a graduate from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto Canada with more than 20 years of automotive and battery technology experience, is reponsible for Business Development and Marketing at ZalaZONE Technology Park. Additionally, he also acts as a Research & Innovation Commercial advisor at the Széchenyi University’s Innovation Campus located within the Technology Park that includes both Vehicle & Battery Laboratories adjacent to the proving ground – a hub for conventional, autonomous, connected, and electric mobility.

Prior to joining the ZalaZONE – Universum , Peter held sales and project management positions with a range of global companies, where his project management background combined with his entrepreneurial leadership skills and technical aptitude played an integral role in helping these companies develop business strategies for their new innovative technologies. As an avid auto, sports, and arts enthusiast, Peter also enjoys both Hungary’s culinary and horse-riding traditions. He resides in Zala county Hungary close to the ZalaZONE Technology Park and Lake Balaton with his wife of 30 years, two children, and granddaughter.
