Wu Wensheng, Chairman of the Great Wall Enterprise Institute (GEI) and a graduate of Peking University, has played a pivotal role in the development of Chinese private enterprise research and strategic consulting since co-founding GEI in 1993. With extensive experience in consulting, he has provided strategic and management advisory services to hundreds of private enterprises, establishing himself as a trusted authority in the field. Mr. Wu has also dedicated much of his career to the research and consulting of China’s science and technology parks, offering strategic guidance to leading innovation hubs such as Beijing Zhongguancun, Wuhan East Lake, Shanghai Zhangjiang, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi’an, Suzhou Industrial Park, Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Hefei.

A leader in enterprise growth studies, Mr. Wu has conducted in-depth research on high-growth companies across China. For eight consecutive years, he has published influential reports on Chinese unicorn enterprises, as well as annual reports on potential unicorns for five years and on high-tech gazelle enterprises for six years, contributing valuable insights into China’s innovation landscape.
