Adriana graduated in Chemical Engineering, with a Master’s and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and post-doctorate in Innovation Management field at North Carolina State University (NC State), Raleigh (USA).

Since 2007, she has been a full professor and researcher at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), in the Department of Production and Mechanical Engineering (DEP). In addition to this, she is the current CEO of the Technology Park of Viçosa (tecnoPARQ), President of National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises (Anprotec, 2024/2025) and Presidente Director of Innovation Network of Minas Gerais State Association (RMI, 2021/2024).

In terms of research, she is a researcher for the Professional Masters in Technological Innovation and Intellectual Property (MPITIP) at Federal University of Minas Gerais, for the masters in Economics at UFV and leader of the research and technological extension group at the Management Technologies Center (NTG).
