De Biasio, Igor

Graduating with a degree in Political Science from Università Cattolica in Milan (110/110), he pursued three postgraduate specializations: Marketing (Bocconi), Marketing and Digital Economics (Università Cattolica, Milan), and Design Thinking (Politecnico di Milano), as well as Business Finance (IMD Business School, Lausanne). After gaining several years of managerial experience in multinational consulting firms, he became an executive at PHILIPS S.p.A., overseeing international responsibilities in the Mediterranean. Later, he was appointed Sales Director for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at MOLESKINE, achieving the best results in the division’s history.

In July 2018, he was elected to the Board of Directors of RAI S.p.A. by the Chamber of Deputies and was re-elected in July 2021. In 2019, he became the Chief Executive Officer of Arexpo S.p.A., where he led the company to its first pre-tax profit, established a new strategic direction, and garnered international acclaim for Italian excellence in urban regeneration. In May 2023, he was named President of Terna S.p.A., a corporation listed on the Milan stock exchange. Additionally, in December 2022, he was honored as an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by the President of Italy.
