Alessandro Favalli is responsible for international business development and internationalisation activities at MADE Competence Center Industry 4.0, a specialised hub dedicated to driving digital innovation and transformation within Italian manufacturing SMEs. In this capacity, Alessandro plays a pivotal role in guiding companies through the complexities and opportunities of Industry 4.0.

With over 30 years of experience as an innovation consultant and international project manager, Alessandro has successfully established and led numerous international projects and ventures focused on innovation. His areas of expertise include R&D valorisation, business internationalisation, seed and early-stage funding, business incubation, and entrepreneurship development. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a diverse range of clients, including private companies, public organisations, and multilateral agencies such as the European Union, the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and WIPO.

Alessandro’s professional experience spans multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Panama, Malaysia, Haiti, Tunisia, Romania, Estonia, and Italy. A skilled linguist, he speaks fluent English, Spanish, Dutch, and Italian, his mother tongue.
