Since joining TusHoldings in 2001, Herbert Chen has held roles as Vice President and Executive Vice President, dedicating over two decades to advancing the company’s operational effectiveness, brand strategy, and international influence. Together with his team, he has played a key role in shaping and implementing TusHoldings’ brand policies, establishing innovative service systems, and driving international business expansion, enhancing the company’s global reputation. TusPark, the science and technology park developed by TusHoldings, is now the largest university-linked science park in the world, offering a robust ecosystem for technology innovation and entrepreneurship. Over the past 30 years, TusPark has attracted renowned companies such as Sohu, Microsoft, and Google to set up R&D centres on site and has incubated numerous high-tech startups, including ChineseAll, Highlander, and Sumavision.

Herbert Chen’s academic foundation includes a degree in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University, awarded in 1984, followed by a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology in 1992. His technical expertise and leadership have made a lasting impact on both TusHoldings and the broader technology and innovation landscape.
