Vorasan Sobhon studied his bachelor of science in tadiological technology in the Mahidol University of Thailand. He continued with a graduate’s diploma and a Master’s of Applied Sciences, both in Biotechnology in the University of New South Wales, Australia. His field of interest is Environmental Biotechnology, Molecular Biotechnology and is currently working on Utilization of biosurfactant and microorganism for the degradation and remediation of environmental contaminants at the Faculty of Agro-Industry. He is a lecturer in the area of environmental and molecular science at Prince of Songkla University and currently holds a position of deputy director at Prince of Songkla University Science Park, Thailand. For the past 10 years, Vorasan have been actively involved with building up the entrepreneurial ecosystems, technology transfer and commercialization through various science park activities.
