Engineers Board of Kenya

The Engineers Board of Kenya is a regulatory body that ensures production of globally competitive engineers and quality engineering services through regulation, capacity building and enforcing compliance with set engineering standards to meet the current and future needs of society.
Their mandate (under section 6 of the Engineers Act 2011) is:
– The registration of engineers and engineering consulting firms;
– The regulation of engineering professional services;
– Setting of engineering standards;
– The development and general practice of engineering.
